SCIENCE, CAMERA, ACTION!
Science, Camera, Action! is a photovoice project that took place at the Boys and Girls Club of America in Denver, Colorado. Children participating in this project were given different activities weekly that were related to climate change, carbon footprint, etc. The children were then asked to practice photovoice methods by taking photographs related to each activity topic. They would then get together with a facilitator and explain the photographs they took. Lab members in the Science, Camera, Action! team were to perform thematic analysis on the audio recordings from these meetings. They worked together to pull out key themes throughout activities, as well as to see which activity may have had the most impact on the children.
